..Key Responsibilities:..

1. ..Incident Management:..

- Provide timely resolution to production issues and incidents impacting financial systems and applications.

- Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurrence.

- Prioritize and escalate critical incidents to minimize business impact and ensure SLA compliance.

2. ..Monitoring and Maintenance:..

- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using monitoring tools and dashboards.

- Proactively identify potential issues and perform preventive maintenance to ensure system stability.

- Implement monitoring alerts and thresholds to detect anomalies and trigger appropriate actions.

3. ..Technical Support:..

- Serve as a subject matter expert for troubleshooting issues related to SQL queries, APIs, and payment flows.

- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot complex technical problems and propose solutions.

- Provide guidance and support to junior support engineers on technical issues and best practices.

4. ..Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:..

- Maintain detailed documentation of production incidents, resolutions, and best practices.

- Share knowledge and insights with team members through training sessions, presentations, and documentation updates.

- Contribute to the development of internal tools and scripts to streamline support processes.

5. ..Change Management:..

- Participate in the planning and implementation of production changes, including software deployments, configuration updates, and infrastructure changes.

- Conduct impact assessments and risk analysis for proposed changes to minimize disruptions to production environments.

..Qualifications:..

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Proven experience (3 years) in a production support role within the fintech or financial services industry.

- Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying and analysis.

- Experience with API troubleshooting and understanding of RESTful API principles.

- Solid understanding of payment processing flows and financial transactions.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on business impact.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, VPC, Kibana) and incident management systems (e.g., Jira, Salesforce) is preferred.

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) for automation tasks is a plus.
