Nautical Faculty / Marine Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Mariner / Trainer to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing hands-on training, conducting regular classes, and sharing practical experience with DNS, GME, and B. Tech (Marine Engineering) cadets.

Additionally, you will oversee the Navigation & chart room department and conduct various post-Sea courses as scheduled by Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies.

Required Candidate Profile:

Must have served as a Master Mariner on any type of vessels.

Completed VICT (Vertical Integration Course for Trainers) is advisable.

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

Strong leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring and training.

Ability to adapt training methods to suit the needs of diverse cadets.

In-depth knowledge of marine engineering, navigation, and chart room operations.

Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
