Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled IT Admin with expertise in managing Microsoft Domain environments to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and optimal performance. This role involves managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Domain services, such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. The Network Administrator will also be involved in network design, implementation, and maintenance, and provide technical support to end-users.

What will you do

Manage and administer Microsoft Domain services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure based on business requirements and best practices.

Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.

Configure and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

Implement and manage network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.

Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning to safeguard critical network resources.

Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network systems with other business applications and services.

Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting network connectivity, access issues, and hardware/software problems.

Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference and training purposes.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve network infrastructure and security.

What are we looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft Domain environments.

Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems (2008/2012/2016/2019).

Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing.

Experience with network hardware and software, such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.

Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware, vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and task scripting.

Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex network issues and implement effective solutions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and end-users.

Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.

Experience with Cloud Computing such as Azure or AWS are a plus.
