An account manager typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include: Expected to be available to colleagues, customers, and vendors during regular business hours.
Roles & Responsibilities
Banking and Cash management
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Payroll Tasks
Documentation, Backups, Record Retention
Financial statement preparation and review
Annual tax prep with external CPA's
Assistance with intra-departmental projects and processes
Resolving discrepancies and identifying process improvements
Conduct financial analysis consisting of budget to actual, variances, forecasts and projections and year end statements.
Preparing special reports of financial records and make recommendations to management concerning financial objectives.
Reviewing and approving reports, financial statements and general ledger entries. Ensures compliance with federal and state contracts.
Implementing procedures for accurate reporting of financial information.
Assists in yearly balancing and performing closeout procedures of GL and the annual budget.
Implementation of policies and procedures to establish internal controls to ensure GAAP are followed.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Excellent communication skills and teamwork experience
Comfortable in a collaborative primarily remote work environment
Highly proficient with online resources and computing, database knowledge is a plus
Software Tools
Office 365, high proficiency with Excel
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
QuickBooks Online or similar
software ADP, Gusto & Onblick
