Summary
Ogle School Management, L.L.C., backed by private equity, is in search of a dedicated payroll professional to accurately handle operational transactions. This role, focused on payroll processing and management, reports to the Controller and assists in fulfilling the outlined duties.
Responsibilities
Entry of new hire, termination, and employee change information in ADP
Maintain proper employee records
Process biweekly payroll for multiple sites
Various tasks for maintenance of employee benefits
Quarterly and year-end reports including W-2’s
Year-end reporting including 1099’s and 1098T’s
Collect and enter timesheet data and payroll information into ADP
Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions, and bonuses
Prepare and process direct deposits
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation
Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve concerns
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
Perform payroll reconciliations
Manage and update employee payroll changes
Generate regular payroll reports for management review
Job Requirements
Required:
A minimum of 4-7 years of direct experience in multi-state payroll processing
Knowledge of payroll processes, including wages, benefits, and deductions.
Hands-on experience in payroll processing and time & attendance management using ADP
Skilled in payroll discrepancy resolution and accurate, timely processing.
Proficient in federal, state, and local payroll regulations, ensuring compliance.
Preferred:
Skilled in adapting payroll for diverse employee types (part-time, full-time, substitute)
Collaboration experience with HR and finance for seamless payroll operations.
Proven ability in payroll reconciliation and reporting.
Efficiency improvements in payroll processes are a plus.
