Backend Java Developer

Job Description

MUST HAVE GOVERNMENT CLEARANCE LEVEL TSC/SCI

Must Have-

Recent Back end, Java coding development experience (Not just a familiarity with or integration work)

Java coding development experience + 5 or more years of professional experience

-Must be able to code a new algorithm directly in Java? Java new development. Backend development- not front-end development.

Backend development= Everything that goes on behind the scenes of an application of a website This is what the program M2C2 is seeking

Front End work= the work that goes on with the interfaces, webpage, plugins, GUI,etc. This is not what we are seeking.

Ask potential candidates if they consider themselves to be "proficient" in Java. Familiarity or just having used java in the past is not significant.

JavaScript is scripting and not the sane as have Java development experience. The program does not need scripting experience.

Experience Domain experience in mission management or command and control for satellite ground systems.

Current, TS/SCI clearance and willing to take polygraphs as required to maintain clearance.

Willing to work in a SCIF 100 fulltime (preferably in Aurora, Co but can make one other location (Richardson, TX) work if needed)

Above average teaming and communication skills are required for the Richardson Location.

Teaming skills= ability to productively work on the team and ask questions/seek help to come up to speed.

Communications skills= ability to concisely ask and answer questions in person, over the phone, and in meetings.

Nice To Have-

Agile Development

Computer Science Degree from accredited engineering program preferred.

Dont Need

IT degrees or system admin (SA) Experience

Management experience

New College Grads

Passing Familiarity with Java- Need to be a fulll-up proficient Java developer

Scripting experience

JavaScript, C,C etc i.ie any other languages than java

Cyber or AI experience

Deveops

Font end java developer's webpages, plugins,

interfaces, GUI.
