Director, Digital Ecommerce Analytics and Architecture

Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Digital Data Analysis with expertise in packaged goods products to lead our digital data analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the analysis of large datasets to extract actionable insights that drive business growth and inform strategic decision-making within the packaged goods industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and business intelligence, with a deep understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics in the packaged goods sector.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of three data analysts and engineers in the collection, processing, and analysis of large datasets related to packaged goods products, including sales data, market research, consumer demographics, and competitive intelligence.

Develop and implement data analytics strategies and methodologies to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities that drive business performance and competitive advantage.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including strategy, marketing, sales, and product development, to identify key business questions and develop analytical solutions to address them.

Design and execute advanced statistical analyses, predictive models, and segmentation techniques to understand consumer behavior, forecast demand, and optimize marketing strategies.

Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to create insightful dashboards, reports, and presentations that communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and actionable manner.

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and packaged goods products to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Serve as a subject matter expert on data analysis and packaged goods products, providing guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with external data vendors, research firms, and industry associations to access relevant data sources and insights.

Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies in all analytical activities.

Drive a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation within the data analytics team, fostering a high-performance work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

10+ years experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and business intelligence, with a focus on packaged goods products. (Health and Beauty categories preferred).

Strong proficiency in statistical software packages (e.g., R, Python, SAS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage and mentor a team of data analysts.

Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in the packaged goods industry.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical findings to diverse audiences.

Proven track record of driving business impact through data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The anticipated compensation range is123,000.00 - 226,000.00 USD Annual

Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, education, experience, and location. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
