Job Title: SAP Consultant (PP & MM Modules)

About Medline Industries: Medline Industries is a leading company in the healthcare industry providing a broad array of medical supplies and solutions. We are seeking a diligent and skilled SAP S/4HANA Consultant to support our Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM) modules.

Job Summary: As an SAP PP/MM Consultant, you will be instrumental in architecting, designing, and executing system requirements, focusing on the PP and MM modules within SAP S/4 and ECC systems. The selected candidate will play a critical role in upgrading our SAP system from the 2019.09 version to the 2023 version. Your expertise in SAP, especially within the manufacturing work stream, will drive business process and system design, enhancing our operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

● Support and contribute to the architecture, design, and requirements elicitation for MM & PP modules in SAP S/4 and ECC systems.

● Create and communicate effective business process designs (BPD), business systems designs (BSD), and system test plans.

● Demonstrate profound knowledge of the 3 PP manufacturing processes: Discrete, Process, and Repetitive.

● Develop functional specifications for interfaces, forms, and extensions within the S4 HANA PP/MFG work stream.

● Perform unit, functional, and system integration testing, manage security aspects, and address system deficiencies.

● Manage ECC and S4 HANA SAP systems interfaces, including integration with third-party systems, troubleshooting, and error resolution.

● Possess knowledge of Output types, IDOCs, and batch jobs, utilizing them to optimize system functionality.

● Take charge of issue and defect triage, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and root cause analysis.

● Write detailed and clear functional specifications for system enhancements and modifications.

Qualifications:

● A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with S4 and SAP Fiori.

● 5 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry-specific SAP requirements.

● Familiarity with SAP version 2023 is highly beneficial.

● Proven ability to handle Output types, IDOCs, batch jobs is preferred.

● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform detailed root cause analysis.

● Exceptional communication skills with the ability to author and communicate complex design documents effectively.
