We are hiring a VP of Social Media for a large, global PR and communications firm in Greater Philadelphia! You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media initiatives that align with client's goals and objectives. You will lead a team, drive engagement and growth across various platforms, and leverage data-driven insights to optimize performance and drive business results.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategic social media plan aligned with overall client objectives
Continuously evaluate and adjust strategies to capitalize on emerging trends and opportunities in the social media landscape.
Manage all vendor relationships (digital and tech vendors)
Develop social media marketing strategy and campaigns for a diverse pool of clients, while also stepping in with tactical execution
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to drive performance and foster professional growth
Oversee the development and execution of high-quality, engaging content across social media platforms. Ensure content is consistent with brand voice, messaging, and objectives
Utilize data analytics and social media monitoring tools to track key performance metrics, analyze trends, and generate actionable insights. Use findings to optimize strategies and enhance overall performance
Develop and manage the social media budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and achieve strategic objectives
Monitor social media channels for potential risks or crises, and develop and implement strategies to mitigate negative impacts on brand reputation
Keep abreast of industry best practices, innovations, and emerging trends in social media marketing, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and stay ahead of the competition
Qualifications:
5+ years of B2B Agency Experience
8+ years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of driving engagement, growth, and ROI
Expert with LinkedIn, Facebook, and X; TikTok experience is a plus
Expertise with paid social media and organic social media
Ability to be directly client-facing, working with a wide industry variety of clientele
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels - must have excellent presentation skills
Experience in crisis management and handling sensitive issues on social media
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
