• Define tasks, estimate completion dates, and communicate accurately the status of job orders and projects.

• Program machine tools and operate the equipment for test cuts and program prove out.

• Generate CNC machining programs for new machine tools and for new products.

• Resolve safety, environmental, and ergonomic issues.

• Appropriate university degree (Bachelor’s or Associate’s) or vocational training PLUS a minimum of 8 years of advanced machining experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of CNC programming experience of machining processes, including Swiss machining.

• Proficiency in implementing production machining processes and tooling.

• Proficiency in generating G-code CNC programs using CAM software (Espirit proficiency a plus) and operating machinery for program prove out and test cuts. Proficiency in programming G-code manually. Understands machining processes from reading G-code.

• Able to handle a variety of assignments, changing priorities, and work schedules.

• Able to work effectively with staff from all levels of the organization, including the shop staff.

• The flexibility/adaptability to work effectively and efficiently, whether working independently, cross functionally, or in a team setting.
