Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the design, development, and enhancement of business custom and standard reports using SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI and Cognos BI Applications. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will be the conduit between the BI customers and BI Team focusing on, but not limited to, production support and new report creation. This position will require high energy and multi-tasking in supporting its internal customers.

Responsibilities:

Participate in the implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including report requirements gathering, report creation and Quality Testing, User Acceptance Testing all new reporting

Provide support for development of SAP SAC, Planning, Cognos BI applications, Power BI and data warehouse.

Provide support for BI, namely data troubleshooting, report modifications and other issues that may arise related to reporting and data quality

Support the BA or Project Manager in the execution of projects

Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign with IT and business

Provide support as it relates to Cognos and SAC specifically but not exclusively reporting and access

Provide data analysis in support of user requirements or problems as they relate to BI environment

Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, work flow analysis, user guides, and functional specification documents

Support internal customers and BI Team in investigation of data issues, working with business and source system application owners to identify root cause

Troubleshoot and research data anomalies and recommend/implement corrective actions

Perform job duties in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies

Create and maintain documentation for existing architecture, data dictionaries, future data warehouse architecture and business intelligence reporting

Must Have Requirements:

Experience and Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

5+ years related experience as Business Intelligence Analyst

3+ Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud

Experience working in Power BI preferred

Experience working in IBM Cognos Framework Manager & Report Studio a plus

Experience working in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio a plus

Experience developing in SAP ABAP a plus

Experience working with SAP HANA a plus

Knowledge of data governance, data management, data modeling, data cleansing, data extraction and transformation, data analysis, data migration, data integration and data mapping

Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and Project Methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or etc.) a plus
