We are active in venture, opportunistic buyouts and Hedge Funds that are internally managed. Given our activities we are clearly not risk averse. Know, however, that we do not take risk lightly.

passionate for exploration and innovation but tempered with the rigors of legal training.

COUNSEL:

The successful candidate will be comfortable with working in a team while taking full responsibility when they are in a leadership role. The person who joins us in this position will work frequently and directly with the partners of the Wesray Capital.

The Role:

We are seeking a person who can function in all areas, legal and transactional, either directly or through interaction with outside professionals, thinking as a businessperson as well as a lawyer. We look to do in-house what we can and use outside counsel when required.

The relevant areas of law are as varied as what we do. We do not expect every candidate to have in-depth experience in all of the areas we are involved in, but related experience in some of these areas is a prerequisite.

Relevant areas of Law:

Business organizations (corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, special purpose vehicles, joint ventures, trusts)

Finance (equity, debt, hybrid)

Venture at all stages - both direct and funds

Intellectual Property

Fund Formation

Litigation

Employment law

Relevant Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

15-20+ years of experience preferred.

A keen understanding or interest in business.

Experience in the business areas stated above will be regarded favorably.

Excellent computer skills, including, Microsoft Office.

Compensation:

Compensation is commensurate with experience in the range of $120,000 to $200,000 per year plus discretionary bonus.

Location: New York, NY 10153, with a preference for in the office.
