Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented M365 Test Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the testing processes related to Microsoft 365 (M365) applications and services. As an M365 Test Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead testing initiatives, and ensure the delivery of high-quality M365 products.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Strategy and Planning:

Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for M365 applications and services.

Collaborate with M365 Program Manager, Technical project managers, development teams, and other stakeholders to define testing scope, objectives, and timelines.

Create and maintain an M365 Testing Roadmap that aligns to the Overall M365 Program and Associated Technologies Roadmap

Team Leadership:

Lead a team of test engineers and quality analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.

Foster a collaborative and innovative testing environment, encouraging continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Test Execution:

Oversee the execution of test cases and test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of M365 products.

Ensure that testing activities align with dependent efforts and their associated project timelines and release schedules.

Automation:

Drive the implementation of test automation strategies to enhance efficiency and coverage.

Work with Automation Engineers to establish testing protocol for automations as associated to support the M365 Ecosystem.

Collaboration:

Work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and identify potential areas of improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues identified during the testing process.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.

Generate comprehensive test reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Risk Management:

Identify and assess risks related to the testing process and work with stakeholders to implement effective mitigation strategies.

8. Continuous Improvement:

Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in M365 applications.

Propose and implement process improvements to enhance the overall testing methodology.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Test Manager, with a focus on Microsoft 365 applications.

Strong understanding of M365 products, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other related services.

Experience in test automation and familiarity with relevant tools ( Need help with this piece – what tools do we use at W&C)

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Full time
