Position Summary

Purpose

As an Apprentice Engineer, you will embark on a journey of professional development and hands-on learning on RRM Projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

Functions

ESSENTIAL

Learn and adhere to industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

Should be able to understand and interpret technical drawings, P&ID, SLD, System Control diagrams, etc.

Basic knowledge at the graduate engineer level in instrumentation and control.

Capable of learning and utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as directed by the mentor.

Assist in the preparation of project deliverable reports wherever required.

NON-ESSENTIAL

Undertake any other trainings/duties of a reasonable nature as required by Management.

Demonstrates a high level of initiative to accomplish individual objectives assigned.

Comply with organizational HR policies and procedures.

Safety

Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.

Other

Carry out training/work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.

Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.

Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.

Reporting Relationship

The apprentice will be reporting directly to the Sr. Manager Management

Working Conditions

This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.

Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night

Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace

Work surface is stable (flat)
