Position Summary

Tacten is seeking professional, energetic and forward-thinking IRATA Level 3 Technicians to support project and maintenance operations in Edmonton and surrounding areas. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.

Project work for various projects throughout the year.

Full time permanent maintenance positions available

Techs will become part of a project/call out pool for the region.

IRATA training provided.

Hours of work will be determined by client/project requirements.

Requires travel to various work site locations throughout the province.

Responsibilities

Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques

Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of Level III Rope Access Technician

Assist other technicians as required

Ensure operational safety of all equipment

Requirements

IRATA Level 3 Certification

Journeyman ticketed would be an asset

First Aid Certicaition (Required)

Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively

Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level

Valid driver's license

Clean driver's abstract

Effective communication in English

Safety Requirements

CSTS, ESC BSO or ESC CSO required

ESC CSE/M (Confined Space and Monitor and Entry) required

ESC Fall Protection an asset
