Schedule: This is a full-time, 10-month position with additional summer days.

The hours will be mutually agreed upon with the Director of Finance, Operations, and Technology.

Starting summer of 2024.

Salary: $85,000-$100,000, commensurate with experience.

Salary will be prorated based on the start date.

About the Role: The Technology Coordinator will support and enhance the technological landscape across the Easton, Redding, and Region 9 school districts.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, Operations, and Technology and the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, the Technology Coordinator will develop, implement, and integrate comprehensive data systems, software solutions, and digital learning initiatives to foster an environment that uses technology purposefully for collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities: * Leadership and Strategic Planning: Partners with the Director of Finance, Operations, and Technology and the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction to align technology with curriculum needs and district goals, emphasizing ISTE standards and the SAMR model.

* Professional Development and Support: Spearheads professional development programs for educators, focusing on digital learning integration and instructional technology.

Builds and supports digital learning teams to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

* Data Management and Analysis: Oversees the collection, maintenance, and analysis of educational data to support decision-making and improve student learning outcomes.

* Communication and Collaboration: Serves as a key liaison among district staff, administrators, and external stakeholders for internal and parent communication systems, including calendars.

Promotes effective communication strategies and coordinates technology-related committees and teams.

* Infrastructure and Policy Management: Supports the management of the district's technology integration and infrastructure policies and budget.

Ensures the security, maintenance, and ethical use of technology resources.

Requirements: * Connecticut Teaching Certification (elementary, secondary, or technology) * Administrator Certification (092) preferred, not required * Strong background in educational technology * Proficient in computer programming (JavaScript, HTML5, SQL, Google App Scripts) * Demonstrated understanding of instructional design, data analysis, and technology integration * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Demonstrated understanding of instructional design, data analysis, and technology integration * Google, GAM, and JAMF Certification (or willingness to obtain) are a plus * Experience in robotics and cybersecurity is desirable Application Process Formal applications will only be accepted online at the district Web site: A direct link to the application page is: Candidates Must Submit 1.
