* What we offer: $19.25 (including shift pay) • 3:30PM-12AM shift hours, Monday - Friday • Benefits start Day 1 • New employee training in the safe operation of equipment Your responsibilities * As a machine operator, you may be assigned to Wash Room, Molding, Paint Room, or Testing * • Wash Room: * o Load and unload conveyor with electrically tested parts * o Wipe excess residue after wash ensuring the parts are clean, dry, and ready for packaging * • Molding: * o Operate heated molding presses to mold and cure products * o Inspect each piece for cosmetic flaws; use light to inspect interior of work pieces * o Trim excess flash from product using a scalpel or grinding tool as needed * o Remove molded pieces from press upon completion of cycle, remove tooling from work pieces * • Paint Room: * o Operate manual or semi-automatic painting application including grit blasting machines * o Dilute paint as required * • Testing: * o Operate semiautomatic or manual testing equipment * o Load and unload test parts * o Spray test parts with oil as a part of the test process * • Manual material handling * • Meet established standard quality and productivity expectations * • Follow job Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) complete * • Maintain accurate quality and production records * • Proper use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toed boots, and others as applicable * Your background * • High School diploma or equivalent * • Prior manufacturing experience preferred * • Basic proficiency in computer systems and applications preferred * • Ability to lift up to 40lbs * • Ability to perform repetitive operations and pull/push functions * • Ability to stand for 8 hours daily * • Comfortable bending, twisting, reaching * • Comfortable working with heavy equipment and in a non-climate controlled environment * • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US * More about us We look forward to receiving your application.
