Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Salem, VA

Shifts: Full-time; Nights, Days, Mixed, Evenings (Rotating Weekends)

Seeking Night Shift Champions and Daytime Defenders! Our ER team in Salem is on the lookout for an experienced Registered Nurse ready to take on the challenges of a fast-paced emergency room. Your Role:

Triage, assess, and treat patients across all age groups.

Manage multiple cases with efficiency, prioritizing based on severity.

Remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.

Collaborate with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure effective care and follow-up.

Document care activities accurately and promptly.

Requirements:

Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.

BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program (preferred).

Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible for a multi-state compact license.

BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Open to 1+ year(s) of RN experience in ER or med-surg nurses willing to cross-train for night shifts.

Benefits:

Competitive salary based on experience, ranging from $32.11 to $45.87 per hour.

Shift differentials for nights and weekends.

$15K sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment.
