Job purpose
We are seeking a successful Finance/Accounting Specialist who is exceptionally detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. This individual will work independently to ensure the timely and accurate entry of financial transactions into accounting and payroll systems, supporting the Finance department in day-to-day operations and departmental objectives.
Key responsibilities include managing invoices, scanning documents, and providing general administrative support as needed.

Duties and responsibilities

May be exposed to sensitive or confidential information; the ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality, integrity, and discretion is critical.
Ability to function efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Provide assistance in processing payroll & reconciliations in QuickBooks in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure timely and accurate bi-weekly processing of payroll, including commissions, bonuses, or other compensation. Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, auditing, and entering data.
Commissions tracking, research, and analytical skills with statements, and data entry into Salesforce.
Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time.
Process accounts payable transactions.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting or related field
2+ years accounting/bookkeeping experience
2+ years experience with QuickBooks, experience reconciling and inputting accounts receivable, accounts payable, and journal entries
5+ years of Excel experience; Macros experience preferred.
5+ years experience with Microsoft Office
Experience with Salesforce, preferred
2+ years payroll processing experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
