Attention Baton Rouge, LA Truck Drivers!

Regional CDL A Tank Truck Solo Drivers needed to haul petroleum-based hazmat products within the Baton Rouge, LA area.

Positions Available:

Company = Up to $0.68 a practical mile (loaded and empty + supplemental pay) or Median $1,650 Per Week

Owner Operator = 70% of linehaul/accessorial charges and 100% of Fuel Surcharge or Median $5,200 Per Week to the Truck

Job Details/Requirements:

Multiple Compartment Aluminum or Single Hull Aluminum/Stainless Steel Tanker Trailer.

Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement Required (If you don’t have it, we can provide resources for you to obtain it!)

Operating within a 1,000 or 1,500-mile radius of your home.

Home Time:

On the road 6 days followed by 1.5 days home time. (34-hour reset)

Every 7 days an additional 1.5 days home time. (34-hour reset)

Job Details:

Driver Referral Program - Company Only.

Safety Incentive Program - Company Only.

Fuel Discounts - Owner Operator.

Additional % of Revenue using your own trailer - Owner Operator.

Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement Required. (If you don’t have it, we can provide resources for you to obtain it!)

Hiring Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.

Class A CDL without the following restrictions: Manual (E), Air brakes (L, Z), Night driving (G), No semi-trailer (O), Intrastate only (K) or Medical variance (M)

Clean motor vehicle license.

2 years of recent driving preferred. 12 months minimum of recent driving experience. 12 months of tractor trailer experience in the last 5 years. Experience must be with a 36 ft. trailer minimum.

OTR drivers must obtain TWIC.

Must have a valid DOT medical card.

Pass a urine drug test.

English proficiency required.

Eligible to work in the United States.

Core Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

Being available for work at all times to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.

Submitting customer paperwork and deposits, including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.

Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.

Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.

Maintaining a driver's log by DOT regulations.
