Perform finance activities for entities assigned and support Finance Manager as required.
(The definitive position title and internal corporate level will be established through a sequence of interviews and assessments)
Responsibilities
Preparation of general ledger journal entries and assist with financial close of assigned entities within APAC.
Ensure proper recording of intercompany transactions, including intercompany invoices and intercompany funds transactions for assigned APAC entities.
To assist in preparation of the monthly/quarterly/annually management financial reports to the Management to ensure subsidiaries management report are prepared accurately & appropriately on a timely manner.
Preparation of detailed schedules for relevant Income Statement items, including schedules required for audit and tax purposes.
Preparation of information, including support on liaising with 3rd party accounting firm where applicable, for the necessary filing of withholding, Corporate Tax and/or VAT tax for assigned APAC entities.
Ensure compliance for Statutory matters such as submission of VAT/GST, withholding taxes, Service Tax, timely submission of estimated chargeable income and Corporate Tax (liaising with tax agents) and ensure compliance filing for AGM (liaising with Company secretary).
Timely submission of monthly financial close in accordance with global deadline for management reporting.
Assist in preparation of AR invoicing and reconciliation reports where required.
Filing of records in proper order.
Any other ad-hoc assignment as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance. Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
Professional Certificate in Accounting or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Analytical Skills
MS Excel proficient. Able to use the functions to work efficiently.
