Senior Manager: Infrastructure Services/Facilities Management

Purpose The purpose of this role is to develop, maintain and coordinate effective delivery of infrastructure and asset management services.

Minimum requirements B Tech Degree/Bachelor's Degree in facilities management, property, management, engineering, business studies, finance or equivalent.

Minimum of 8 to 10 Years' experience in Facilities Management.

Minimum of 3 to 5 Years Senior Management experience would be an added advantage.

Professional registration will be an added advantage SAFMA, IFMA.

Main duties Overall management of the strategic, tactical and operational aspects of facilities management service delivery to the organisation.

Design and implement solutions that support the operational processes of managing assets.

Engage directly with business leaders to design, prioritise and deliver an infrastructure which provides all required asset data at any given time during or after its life cycle.

Develop and implement asset and infrastructure risk treatment plans in accordance with identified risks.

Ensure optimisation of asset utilisation across the company in consultation with the different research divisions, and aligned to the companies strategic and operational objectives.

Manage all leases through effective contract management and liaison with various lines of business.

Implement planned, preventative and emergency maintenance in line with the strategic requirements set out.

Ensure that a 3-year, 5 year and 10 year preventative maintenance plan is in place for all facilities.
