OUR PAY STRUCTURE IS 50% COMMISSION OF GROOMS!

JOB SUMMARY

The Groomer is responsible for bathing animals of various sizes and temperaments, trimming, clipping, or shaving hair/fur, and removing matted hair. The Groomer should also be able to ensure that grooming tools and equipment are in good working condition.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Possess basic grooming and handling knowledge

Excellent scissor skills

Ability to perform breed specific pattern cuts

Follow all client requests

Recruit and retain clientele

Demonstrate professional and effective communication skills

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Desire to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to multi-task

Attention to detail and ability to observe animal behaviors daily

Able to clean pet accommodations / facility to maintain our high standards

Operate basic computer software

Flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays

Prefer 3 years of grooming experience

Preferred experience grooming both cats and dogs

Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds

Ability to stand up to 8 hours

PAY RANGE - 50% COMMISSION OF GROOMS
