Cyber Security Instructor

Job Summary:

Soffit Infrastructure Services (P) Ltd seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Cyber Security Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cyber security principles, tools, and techniques, coupled with excellent communication and teaching skills. As a Cyber Security Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality trainings and education in the field of cyber security including but not limited to network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, incident response, and compliance regulations. You will play a vital role in shaping the skills and knowledge of students, employees, Trainees, and interns by providing, engaging and informative sessions. In addition to teaching, you will actively contribute to curriculum development, research, and mentorship of trainees. Your commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and continuous professional development will be crucial.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, handouts, exercises, and assessments, to address the diverse needs of learners.

• Deliver classroom-based or virtual training sessions on cyber security topics to individuals or groups, ensuring content is effectively communicated and understood.

• Stay updated on the latest developments, trends, and threats in the field of cyber security and incorporate relevant information into training materials and sessions.

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT teams, management, and HR, to identify training needs and align training initiatives with organizational goals.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and best practices related to cyber security training and awareness.

• Act as a subject matter expert, participating in industry events, workshops, and forums to share knowledge and contribute to the broader cyber security community.

• Maintain records of training activities, attendance, and feedback for reporting purposes and compliance requirements.

• Deliver college sessions, corporate training, webinars, and workshops, ensuring effective knowledge transfer to diverse audiences.

Requirements

• Relevant Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Cyber Security, or related field

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Trainer in cyber security

• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage learners and create an interactive and supportive learning environment.

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in cyber security training.

• Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements related to cyber security, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or NIST.

• Willingness to travel to locations as needed. Location: Kochi
