Production Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Textile Manager to oversee all aspects of textile manufacturing operations. The Production Textile Manager will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient production of high-quality textile and apparel products while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of textile production processes, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.

2. Receive order plans and order sheets from senior authorities and develop textile and apparel production plans on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

3. Estimate cost & prepare budgets.

4. Determine quantity of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)

5. Monitor material status against each order and ensure timely receipt of materials.

6. Provide clear job assignments to supervisors and other subordinates, ensuring smooth workflow.

7. Conduct pre-production sample preparation and compare with approved samples to uphold quality standards.

8. Implement and uphold production, quality, and maintenance standards.

9. Approve the commencement of production against work orders and monitor progress against production plans.

10. Take prompt corrective measures if production progress falls short of expectations, coordinating with relevant stakeholders.

11. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all activities on the production floor.

12. Enforce health and safety precautions.

13. Report to upper management.

16. Calculation of consumption of trims like Thread, Drawcord etc..

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

5+ years of production experience

Strong organizational and managerial skills
