For Diploma : 7-8 Years

Preferred skill – Knowledge of SAP

Job Description:

To support SH Mechanical (Packing Plant) by handling various operations, manpower and equipment’s of Packing Plant effectively to bring cost optimization and achieve daily dispatch as per the unit/business targets.

Plan organize and monitor implementation of activities for optimum equipment availability for crushing and feeding. Monitor equipment availability for running. Rectification of minor problems in every shift. Coordinate/execute improvement actions in the section. Coordinate actions to increase Customers satisfaction. Avoid idle running of packer.

Cost Control-reduction in bag bust age. Rake & Truck Loading Shift dispatch proper printing and grade wise loading of trucks. Providing assistant in Shutdown activities of line 2 truck loading. Maintaining Silo level above 500 MT in each silo to avoid extraction problem. Taking daily plant around and planning for maintenance related activity. Reduction in section cost by reducing breakdowns.

Reduction in section cost by avoiding idle running of equipment. Avoid over time and optimum utilization of contract manpower. Control the handling cost by avoiding Spillage.

Checking of weight variation and printing issue. Following zero safety violation in the section. Plan, Monitor & Control material, lubricant, Inventory and manpower cost as per budget in Packing operations in order to optimize maintenance costs.

Organizing and coordinating operation and maintenance activities, manpower planning, spare parts management and execution of improvement / modification jobs in Packing plant for ensuring maximum plant availability and bringing cost optimization through productivity improvement to meet budgeted dispatch targets adhering with UTCL safety standards.

To ensure optimum availability of Packing Plant throughout the year and systematic implementation of maintenance schedule to achieve production targets.
