Position Description: Medici Land Governance is a public benefit corporation which aims to promote economic development and full financial inclusion by helping individuals, families and communities to establish formal ownership of their homes and land. We achieve this mission by securing public records of land ownership, leveraging blockchain and other technologies (such as artificial intelligence [AI], machine learning, and cryptography), providing user-friendly and cost-efficient land titling and administration systems, and supporting government agencies to digitalize land and other public records. Our systems are designed to engender trust and security in data and diminish human error, and accidental damage to records.Our achievements and reputation make us a sought-after provider of blockchain and land administration products. Government clients in Zambia, Rwanda, Saint Kitts, Tulum, Mexico, Liberia, and New York City have commended our work and appreciated our commitment to quality service delivery. We provide a broad suite of tools and services, including building blockchain-based land registries, digitalizing land titling and administration systems, developing digital land information systems, blockchain-based record management, cadastral and geographic information systems (GIS), mapping and aerial imagery for land administration. MLG products enable governments to administer land, issue land titles, generate public revenue, and create an enabling environment for functioning property markets and economic growth.We are growing and currently looking for a new Proposal Manager to lead our procurement bidding department. The Proposal Manager is responsible for managing the proposal preparation and submission processes for MLG's funding proposals for new international and domestic projects. For this role, you will analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other related proposal opportunities, write and edit proposal content, and conduct editing and quality control of proposals to ensure adherence to MLGs quality standards. You will manage the entire proposal life cycle, from tracking opportunities, preparing proposal sections, addressing comments and feedback, submitting proposals, and responding to client feedback and questions on proposals. When preparing proposals, you will integrate various inputs from proposal teams, including technical offer/approach, staffing, budget, technical approach, and project management sections. You will also identify and recruit consultants in Latin America, Africa, and Asia to include in MLG's proposals. Working closely with the CEO and Business Development team, you will develop a pipeline of new business opportunities and take ownership over the quality, results, and win rate related to MLGs proposals. You will be responsible for the success of MLGs funding proposals and iteratively improve processes based on feedback and lessons learned from proposal activities. You should demonstrate good analytical skills, have a basic understanding of overall company organization, as well as a strong understanding of business partner relationships and operations.Experience in Land Administration and Governance sector is a benefit but not required for this position. We are looking for passionate individuals who have a desire to make a difference in the world. What You Will Do:

Research and identify proposal opportunities, develop a pipeline of business development opportunities and assess the competitive landscape

Manage the proposal preparation process from start to finish, ensuring feedback and approval from MLGs management, technical, and financial teams throughout the process

Analyze proposal documents to determine relevancy for MLG and summarize requirements for MLG Management

Translate as needed proposal documents into English or other languages as necessary

Respond to questions from management, technical, legal, and financial departments about proposals

Fill out proposal forms and other relevant documentation, including forms that highlight MLGs experience, staff, and relevant qualifications, following proper templates and formatting requests

Develop and implement proposal preparation plans, ensuring management approval and alignment of proposal team roles and responsibilities throughout the process

Write sections of proposals and provide editing and quality control

Respond to comments and feedback from MLG staff as well as donors and other recipients of MLG proposals

Edit proposal documents for accuracy, typos, grammar, syntax, and other issues

Format proposal documentation, ensuring the highest quality standards and strict adherence to RFP requirements

Identify and recruit technical specialist consultants to include in MLGs proposals

Prepare PowerPoint presentations and other marketing materials for business development

Engage MLGs technical, finance, and legal departments as needed to support the proposal preparation process

Take ownership over the proposal preparation and submission process

Support project start-up once contracts are awarded, ensuring a smooth proposal to project handover

Update MLGs bid tracker and fulfill other new business development reporting requirements

Participate and prepare for MLG business development calls

Identify and engage potential partner companies and support documentation for joint venture bids and other partnership opportunities

Demonstrate strong analytical skills

Understand the overall company organization and business

Demonstrate initiative and integrity in all aspects of workWhat You Should Have:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field

Minimum of 5 years experience in developing and managing proposals related to international development, information communication technology (ICT), or another relevant field

Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

Experience analyzing proposal documents and preparing/managing proposals

Strong written and oral communication skills
