ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provide sales and operational leadership to the assigned region

Develop marketing and pricing strategies which provide sustainable and profitable market share growth

Improve operational performance and efficiency to improve customer service and regional profitability

Develop a culture of teamwork between branch locations and divisions

Hire, retain, evaluate, develop, and recruit employees to enhance performance

Ensure efficient utilization of company assets between branch locations

Ensure sound inventory control procedures are followed and maintained at assigned facilities

Abide by and champion all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers

Ownership and accountability of profit and loss statements

Research, recommend, and implement new technologies, products, and/or services that are beneficial to customers and to the company

Attend designated training sessions and meetings that apply to the position

Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

This position will have responsibilities in Upper Sandusky, Kenton, Sycamore, Ada and McCutchenville

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy/Agribusiness or another related field or 5+ years of successful leadership experience within the industry

Valid driver’s license, with acceptable driving record

Outstanding Organizational and Time-Management Skills

Previous Management Experience

Ability to quickly establish and cultivate relationships, both internally and externally

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Flexibility to handle situations as they occur, while adhering to company policies

Willingness to continuously learn and develop skills and knowledge relevant to the job and industry

Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
