About you -

The Projects Engineer completes assigned Process and Capital Engineering Projects by organizing and controlling project elements and following project to completion. Also supports the Maintenance and Manufacturing Departments on a Technical basis as required – Hands-on approach.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develops project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans; conferring with the Engineering Manager.

Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements.

Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.

Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.

Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.

Manufacturing support, Process improvements, Kaizan type events etc.

Tool and Die design (3D CAD)

Work with and Support the Maintenance Department with Technical issues and Small Projects.

Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, safety rules and regulations.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Will be required to perform all other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.

Min 3 years’ experience in project management – manufacturing environment.

Experience in rubber and PE foam extrusion a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

AutoCad proficiency

Proficiency in MS Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Requires excellent project management skills.

Process Engineering experience a plus.

Ability to prioritize multiple projects.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk, sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects of up to 55 lbs.

Hands-on approach with regards to commissioning and troubleshooting Equipment.
