New Job Opportunity - Desktop Support Technician(Windows and Mac/Apple)
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Bethesda, MD. Looking to hire an experienced Desktop Support Technician with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience. (Desktop Support).
Technical certifications are highly desired as well as experience in both Windows and Mac/Apple support
Logistics of the Role:
Full Time - 6 Month Contract to Hire
Hybrid Remote: Fully on site for first two weeks of training, after that 2-3 days a week on siteDay to Day Activities:
Provide day-to-day desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot, and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software
Tier 1 and tier 2 Support - Answer tier 1 and tier 2 calls for computers during high call periods or when scheduling conflicts arise
Deploys and troubleshoot issues with networking equipment (switches, routers, data drops, wireless access points and other hardware).
Collaborates with vendors to resolve software and hardware issues.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of IT Technical Support; mix of Desktop and Help Desk Support preferred
Highly detailed and process-oriented with advanced troubleshooting, incident resolution, and documentation skills
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field required
CompTIA Certifications are highly desired
