Our Company has openings for the position of Assistant Conveyorman aboard our US flagged self-unloading vessels. We are looking to hire for mid March - Fit-Out and start of our 2023 sailing season!

Responsibilities

Following safe work procedures

Assist with loading and unloading of cargo in the tunnel of the vessel

Work with a conveyor belt and system

Perform maintenance on the cargo equipment

Follow instruction from Conveyorman on various tasks such as cleaning and maintenance

Other duties as assigned

TWIC Card - Transportation Worker Identification Credential

Unexpired US Passport or Enhanced Driver's License and allowed entry into Canada

Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) with Ordinary Seaman

Legally authorized to work in the US, without restriction

Excellent communication and ability to multi-task

Experience working as a team and desire to working together as a team player

Experience and desires to align to our Values: Creating a Positive Customer Experience, Health/Safety/Environment focused, High Integrity and Teamwork

MMC with Wiper Endorsement issued by USCG preferred

Mechanical, welding experience preferred

Maritime training or recent vessel experience preferred
