For over 60 years, APEX Technical School has helped students get the training they need to go after the jobs they want through our unique program of both classroom and hands-on instruction. Your skills and passion can make a difference for the next generation of students.

APEX is looking for a highly skilled Construction Instructor to teach hands-on work with a group of students who are eager to learn. ABSOLUTELY no teaching experience required. You supply the skills and we supply everything else, even the tools!

Requirements

3+ years hands-on fieldwork experience in the construction trade with experience in Carpentry, Plumbing, and Electric

Kitchen and Bathroom remodel experience

Experience in Framing, Sheetrock, Roofing, and Siding

Basic branch circuit knowledge

Experience in installing Plumbing Fixtures and DWV

Qualifications

Proficient in reading blueprints, manuals, and electrical schematics

Highly skilled in working with electrical equipment and hand tools

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

High School Diploma or GED
