Solutions Architect

Title: Solution Architect- .NET

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid-2 days onsite in a week) (Local candidate will be preferred)

Position Type: CTH, 6+ months

Job Description:

As a .NET Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of multiple applications across various platforms within the company. This role involves providing technical leadership and consultancy to team members and peers, contributing to the development and refinement of standards, and leading or participating in code and design reviews.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a deep understanding of the strategic business plans of the department and respective business units.

Provide architectural consulting expertise, direction, and support to systems analysts, systems engineers, and other architects.

Stay informed about the company's existing IT architecture, infrastructure, and technology portfolio.

Develop, document, communicate, and enforce technology standards policies.

Research emerging technologies to support infrastructure development efforts and recommend solutions for increased cost-effectiveness and flexibility.

Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.

Execute test plans to assess infrastructure and systems technical performance, report findings, and make recommendations for improvement.

Guide junior team members and actively participate in code and design reviews.

Stay updated on available technology in web and Windows development, information delivery, and relational database technology.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills set:

Advanced understanding of information processing principles and practices.

Advanced technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems, including current Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop releases.

Advanced knowledge of programming languages within the .NET domain.

Advanced understanding of applicable data privacy practices and laws.

Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.

Advanced written and oral communication skills.

Advanced interpersonal and consultative skills.

Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.

Effective prioritization and execution of tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Must-Have Skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or computer engineering, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience as a developer.

5+ years of experience with business requirements gathering and analysis.

5+ years of experience in window and/or web-based systems design and development.

5+ years of hands-on experience with application development tools, including Visual Studio .NET.

5+ years of hands-on experience with relational database technology, preferably MS SQL Server.
