Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Installation Technician to join our team. As a CCTV Installation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality CCTV solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Configuration:

Install, configure, and set up CCTV systems, cameras, and related equipment.

Ensure proper alignment, positioning, and wiring for optimal surveillance coverage.

System Testing and Commissioning:

Conduct thorough testing of CCTV systems to verify functionality and performance.

Commission installed systems, adjusting settings and configurations as needed.

Maintenance and Repairs:

Perform routine maintenance on CCTV systems to ensure continuous operation.

Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, conducting repairs and replacements as necessary.

Technical Expertise:

Stay updated on the latest CCTV technologies, industry standards, and best practices.

Provide technical expertise to clients and colleagues on CCTV system capabilities and configurations.

Documentation:

Create detailed documentation of CCTV system installations, configurations, and maintenance procedures.

Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and service history.

Client Interaction:

Collaborate with clients to understand their surveillance needs and provide recommendations.

Conduct training sessions for clients on the proper use and maintenance of CCTV systems.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CCTV Installation Technician or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, cameras, and related equipment.

Familiarity with different types of CCTV technologies and configurations.

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Education: Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
