Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and GL
Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure completeness of financial data
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Develop and monitor budgets, providing analysis and recommendations to management
Conduct regular account analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures and systems of internal controls
Work cross-functionally to provide financial guidance and support for decision-making processes
Manage a team of accounting professionals, providing training and development opportunities and track KPIâ s
Prepare and review year-end working papers external parties
Analyze capital investment decisions for proposed expenditures
External stakeholder management - including advisors, clients, vendors and bankers
Qualifications:
CPA preferred, with 5+ years accounting experience in a leadership type role
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team
Someone excited and committed to helping the company grow
Manufacturing and distribution experience an asset
