CNA compensation starts at $17/hour and increases with experience.

CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA):

Williamsburg Landing, a CARF-accredited Life Plan Community, seeks Full-Time (36+ hours/week), Part-Time Plus (30-35 hours/week) and Part-Time (less than 30 hours/week) Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to care for residents in the Health & Rehabilitation Center.

CNA JOB DUTIES

Assist in implementing individualized care that promotes maximum independence, safety, and comfort for each resident

Assist residents with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, bathing, dressing, and grooming

CNA QUALIFICAITONS

Valid certification as a Nurse Aide from the Commonwealth of Virginia and current CPR certification is required

Must be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing

CDP (Certified Dementia Practitioner) designation required within 90 days of employment

Ability to perform duties in accordance with accepted methods and techniques necessary in providing optimal care

Ability to regularly and safely lift a minimum of 50 pounds; Ability tp stand and walk for long periods

Ability to use a variety of health care equipment such as lifts, thermometer, and blood pressure cuff

Prior applicable work experience preferred
