Location: Montgomery County, MD or Baltimore MD

Title: School Nurse

Start date: Immediately!

Shift: Day Shift, 7am-3pm or 9am-4pm

Vaccines: MMR, Varicella, HEP B, PPD, COVID Vaccine Required

School Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for:

Professional, medical treatment of students

Early detection of physical problems and health evaluations

Disease prevention

Promoting programs on health-education and immunization

Maintaining clinical records

Coordinating vision, hearing, and orthopedic screening and health assessments

Providing emergency aid to students and school staff

Assisting teachers in instructing students in health and nutrition education

Aiding in student transport

School Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications

Active MD State Board Certified Licensed Practical

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

A desire to work with children.

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
