Job Description

RISE Housing and Support Services is looking for an experienced, handy, empathetic individual to support our property management department on a part-time basis. A successful candidate will have experience responding to resident needs in apartment settings and comfort with individuals working through mental health and substance use challenges.

RISE offers a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant:

A starting rate of $19.50

Overview of Job Responsibilities:

Perform lawn care and minor landscaping

Assist with snow removal, salting and sanding

Perform basic maintenance on household structures and components

Assemble materials and tools for projects

Monitor physical property safety and report discrepancies immediately to the Property Manager

Help with additional related tasks such as interior painting and moving equipment

To qualify you must have:

1+ years of related on the job experience responding to general maintenance tasks

Ability to lift 50lbs and work with long periods of standing

Strong interpersonal boundaries
