SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER - HOOPESTON, IL

OVERVIEW:

As a Senior Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our human capital across multiple sites. You will oversee HR operations, policies, and strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives and foster a positive work environment.

This position requires travel between 25 and 50 percent of the time to various production facilities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Serve as the primary HR leader for your home location and lead HR teams in multiple locations.

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.

Oversee recruitment and staffing processes for your facilities to attract and retain top talent.

Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling in both union and non-union settings.

Collaborate with management to assess and anticipate HR-related needs and formulate effective solutions.

Ensure compliance with labor regulations and internal policies across all sites.

Implement performance management systems to drive employee productivity and development.

Drive compensation and benefits programs to maintain competitiveness in the industry.

Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and engagement.

Conduct regular site visits to build relationships, address HR concerns, and assess operational needs.

Act as a strategic partner to senior management in driving organizational effectiveness and culture.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Proven experience as an HR manager in a manufacturing or food industry setting.

Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR teams.

Strategic thinker with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Willingness to travel between company sites (25-50% of the time).

WHAT WE'D LIKE TO SEE:

Master's degree preferred.

Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.

Proficiency in Workday and data analysis tools.
