We are currently seeking a dedicated Loan Specialist to join our team. This position plays a vital role in processing loan documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance with state and federal regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Position Overview: The Loan Specialist will be responsible for processing all loan documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance with state and federal regulations, and maintaining customer satisfaction. The role requires evaluating loan applications, assisting customers in selecting loan products, guiding them through the application process, providing guidance on credit decisions, and ensuring that all loan documents are complete in accordance with policy.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate customer loan applications and creditworthiness, assessing financial information and verifying documentation.

Review customer information for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all required details are provided.

Analyze financial data to determine eligibility for various loan programs, considering income, credit history, and other relevant factors.

Work closely with customers to understand their financial needs and guide them in selecting appropriate loan products.

Guide customers through the loan application process, explaining requirements, answering questions, and providing support as needed.

Prepare loan documents accurately and compliantly, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and company policies.

Monitor and track loans throughout the life of the loan, ensuring timely and accurate processing, documentation, and funding.

Follow up with customers on any additional documentation or questions that may be required, providing clear instructions and assistance.

Maintain current knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding loans, ensuring compliance in all loan processing activities.

Provide customers with excellent service, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests professionally and promptly.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or related industry knowledge; experience in the mortgage, banking, or finance industry is preferred.

Strong understanding of lending laws and regulations, including knowledge of state and federal guidelines.

Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to accurately review and analyze financial data and loan documents.

Proficiency in using loan processing software and other relevant tools.

Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.

Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound credit decisions based on available information.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
