Origence is looking to hire a talented Manager, Operations!

As a hands-on leader, the Manager, Operations is responsible for the management/administration of Origination Services, to include call center, processing, underwriting and administrative staff. Participate in the implementation, development and administration of processing guidelines for credit union partners using BPO programs. Provide training, coaching, career development, and feedback with performance evaluations for the team. Provide leadership and vision that enhance client engagement and achieve performance metrics, operational goals, and maintain and inspire client relationships. Identify and implement improved processes to increase the efficiencies of the department. Resolve issues communicated to the department by the credit unions or dealerships. Communicates all issues and production of the department to the Vice President of Operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

Staff Support & Development; Department Management

Assists in the development of long range strategic and financial plans.

Responsible for preparing and maintaining reporting and analytics for production, accuracy of processing, staff measurement, etc. This includes development of additional reporting and metrics as business needs dictate.

Manages the department staff. Responsible for staff hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, identification of development opportunities, continuing education, monitoring and evaluation of their performance to include regular feedback. Responsible for management of scaling staff to accommodate new client needs and/or business hour coverage needs.

Effectively manage staff to meet department goals and direct the necessary daily activity to ensure client production levels and business objectives are met.

Focus on continuous improvement within service goals and evaluate program performance by analyzing results, make recommendations on program enhancements, provide services that drive value, and participate at events on behalf of CUDC.

Perform functions as needed within the Department.

Ensures department adherence to policies, procedures, state and federal laws and regulations.

Responsible for coordination & communication with Operations Leadership (Director, Supervisors, Vice President).

Coordinate staffing to maintain overall operations production.

Coordinate supervision of staff.

Maintain communication of process changes between areas.

Coordinate training between areas.

Maintain a professional and positive level of communication between areas.

Coordinate metrics for staff measurement & evaluation between areas.

Communicate all issues, production or otherwise.

Collaborate to resolve client and internal support issues.

Responsible for product and client support. Participates in implementations of new clients and on-going system improvements.

Recommend and implement process improvements geared toward increased accuracy, improved turn time, improved service levels and maximization of revenue.

Lead implementations for new clients and/or new products. Monitor to ensure service levels and agreements are met. Document new client procedures and train team on service requirements.

Ensure timely responses & resolution to operational issues for all dealer and credit union partners.

Supervise testing of software and new software releases.

Ensure service levels agreements are met and carry-over of loan packages are minimized.

The Ideal Candidate:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or combination of related courses and experience.

Experience:

10 years’ experience working in a dealer, automotive finance, or industry specific environment.

3 Years management experience of staff including hiring, training and development.

Demonstrated operational workflow and analysis experience through practical work experience.

General knowledge of financial industry policies and operations.

A minimum of five years’ experience in consumer lending/underwriting environment.

Knowledge of indirect auto lending or leasing, lending operations, and regulatory compliance.

Specialized Skills:

Ability to interface with corporate leaders / executives for the purpose of creating and furthering a business relationship on behalf of CUDL.

Excellent communication skills (including verbal, written & documenting).

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Working knowledge of PowerPoint functionality to create presentations.

The starting salary range for this full-time position is $74700 - $93300 per year. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals. Bonuses are awarded at company’s discretion on an individual basis.
