Responsibilities
A good working knowledge oil and gas handling facilities such as three or two-phase separators, Scrubbers, Pressure Reduction and Metering Station (PRMS)
Familiar with API standards and other international safety standards
A good understanding of Oil and Gas Master pipeline of Nigeria and West African Coast
Knowledgeable in Gas sales and Purchase Agreement (GSPA)
Provide technical inputs into GSPA Serve as lead engineer in writing technical proposal for customer
Serve as lead engineer in gas consumption estimation for end users
Serve as lead engineer in technical due diligence, project costing, CAPEX, OPEX, etc
Provide technical scope of work for gas pipeline extension to customers
Equipment sizing and selection based on Life Cycle Cost (LCC) principle
Learn and demonstrate relevant energy economic principles in commercial proposal simulation
Cost-saving solution
Relevance of technical solution to the customer’s request
Guaranteed performance of gas molecule availability must be maintained
Planned maintenance executed at the appropriate time
Customer satisfaction levels
Training of subordinates
Development of computer software for performance enhancement
Team player
Adherence of relevant international standards
Honesty in project budgeting
Ability to work alone or with minimum supervision
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience with not less than 8 years relevant experience in a similar position
A good first degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum engineering at 2nd class upper MSc and MBA will be added advantage.
Professional qualification – Membership of Nigerian Society of Engineers and COREN
