The Poultry Farm Manager will oversee all aspects of poultry farm operations, ensuring the health, welfare, and productivity of our flock. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to excellence in poultry husbandry.
Preparation and Administration of Work Orders:
Create and distribute work orders detailing daily tasks and assignments for farm workers.
Ensure work orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
Administer work orders to farm staff, providing clear instructions and guidance as needed.
2. Scheduling Workers Assignments:
Develop schedules for farm workers, assigning tasks and responsibilities based on workload and priorities.
Monitor worker performance and productivity to ensure work orders are completed on time and to standards.
Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in workload or staffing levels.
3. Planning and Directing:
Develop and implement plans for poultry production, including breeding, rearing, and harvesting.
Direct farm activities to optimize efficiency, productivity, and animal welfare.
Monitor and adjust production processes to meet quality and quantity targets.
4. In Charge of Procurement of Birds
Coordinate the procurement of poultry birds, feed, medications, and other supplies necessary for farm operations.
Establish relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
Maintain inventory levels and monitor supply usage to prevent shortages or overstocking.
