Responsibilities:

Peraton is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will support the United States Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS) in maintaining its information technology (IT) enterprise infrastructure. This individual will have a background in Dev Ops concepts.

Hybrid role. Must be local to the DC Metro area.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

Attend weekly status meetings with the Government Program Managers.

Organize, direct and coordinate planning and execution of all task order activities.

Defines project scope and objectives.

Develop work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

Provide technical guidance to project team.

Facilitate scrum meetings and lead sprint planning meetings effectively.

Direct and coordinate the day-to-day activities, tasks and deliverables required from the project team according to the project plan.

Develop best practices and tools for project support.

Provide strategic planning and project management to include monitoring and controlling efforts as well as managing scope.

Serve as a Scrum Master, facilitating scrum meetings, and leading sprint planning/demo/retrospective meetings effectively.

Develop project status reports to project owners including scheduling, cost, scope, testing, changes, resource availabilities and task status.

Facilitate training and informational sessions.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship and must have the ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance.

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years’ experience.

5 years experience managing IT projects and programs.

Knowledge of information systems hardware and software.

Knowledge of systems development life-cycle.

Scrum Master Expertise.

Exceptional and effective written and verbal communications skills.

Experience managing teams using Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

ITIL4 Certification

PMP Certification

Target Salary Range:

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
