We understand the need to be creative and flexible when it comes to telecommuting and other alternative work arrangements. This position is eligible for our hybrid remote work and will work in the Rockville, MD office four days per week.

Responsibilities:

The Consumer Loan Administrator originates, processes, underwrites, closes, funds and services all Consumer Loans. Orders all necessary documentation, searches, and completes all compliance related to the loan and borrower. Fields questions from borrowers and handles all customer service for existing loans.

Qualifications:

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Originates/Underwrites/Closes/Funds loans originated by Consumer Lending.

Assists with any regulatory compliance requirements and audits.

Handles customer calls and any associated requests with a sense of urgency such as (payoff statement, account history, late pay inquiries, set up of auto debit payments, etc.) or directs the caller to the appropriate contact/department, if consumer lending is not the correct destination.

Prepares and executes funding and disbursement for all loans closed by Consumer Lending. Completes the funding process to include worksheets and all documentation necessary to ensure proper funding of the loan.

Uploads all funding documents into Image Centre.

Processes all incoming subordinations and sends notarized original to requester.

Researches and minimizes Critical Exceptions by locating missing documentation on list.

Ensures all maturing loans are monitored by following up with customers promptly.

Completes and sends all Consumer Loan invoices for approval through COUPA/Accounts Payable.

Prepares Loan Documents in LaserPro.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

3 years of experience in consumer lending or underwriting.

NMLS Number to be obtained within 30 to 60 days of start date.

Familiarity with all Consumer loan products and regulations.

Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.

Strong Organization skills.

Preferences:

College Degree in Business, preferably in finance, or 5 (five) additional years of Consumer Banking experience, preferred.

5 to 10 years of Consumer Lending experience.

Proficient with Encompass, Baker Hill, LaserPro, and Image Center

Notary Public to be applied for within 30 days of start date.
