Valrico Animal Clinic is a mixed-animal practice looking for an experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team!

At Valrico Animal Clinic, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care to dogs, cats, avian and exotic patients, and we're seeking a team member who shares our passion for pet care. We are an AAHA-accredited veterinary practice and pride ourselves in maintaining high medical quality standards.

General Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians in the examination, treatment, and surgery of animals

Perform laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging

Administer medications and vaccinations

Monitor and care for hospitalized patients

Educate clients on preventive care and treatment plans

Maintain accurate medical records

Requirements:

Licensed Veterinary Technician (preferred)

Willingness to pursue licensure with clinic support and tuition reimbursement

A year or more on-the-job experience as a veterinary assistant or technician

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
