Welder OJT Instructor/Supervisor

Perform on the job training of practical factors of the welding trade using mock ups/simulators and actual shipboard demonstrations.

Required Skills and Experiences:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in structural welding of ship related work.

Knowledge of Naval Shipyard operations.

Experience in SMAW, GTAW and MIG welding operations as well as an understanding of ventilation, selection of welding machines, pre-heat, containment fabrication and hot work processes.

Must be a U.S. citizen.

A secret security clearance.

Degree Requirements:

High School diploma or GED
