Prestigious Law Firm seeking a Legal Secretary to join their team intheir midtown office.
Hybrid (4 in, 1 remote) after training and acclimation to Firm.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years in a law firm setting
Organized and ability to multi-task, strong attention to detail
Professional demeanor while interfacing with clients
Proficient in proof reading
Familiar with Elite/3E or similar system
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Transcribe, prepare and manage correspondence
Draft new business/matter memos, engagement letters and editing such documents
Maintain schedules and Outlook calendars
Enter and edit attorney(s) time using Elite/3E or similar system
Client billing
Set up and maintain filing systems
Proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar and other English language skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook; Excel, Elite/3E
IManage experience is preferred
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload, as well as anticipate the needs of assigned attorneys
Articulate and polished when interacting with others and main professionalism under stress
Demonstrates effective verbal, written, listening, and presentation communication skills
