Job Title: Nuclear Cardiologist (Contract) Position

Location: Billerica, MA

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nuclear Cardiologist to join our team on a contract basis.

This role is crucial for providing specialized care to patients with cardiovascular diseases using nuclear medicine techniques.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of diagnostic imaging and possess a deep understanding of cardiovascular pathology.

Responsibilities:

Perform and interpret nuclear cardiology studies including, but not limited to, myocardial perfusion imaging.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Participate in patient consultations and provide recommendations for treatment plans.

Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping in accordance with medical regulations and institutional policies.

Stay updated with advancements in nuclear cardiology and related medical fields.

Adhere to all safety protocols relating to the use of radioactive materials.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with specialization in Cardiology.

Valid and active medical license in the state of Massachusetts.

Board certified or eligible in Nuclear Cardiology.

Proven experience in nuclear cardiology imaging techniques.

Strong understanding of the safety protocols in handling and disposal of radioactive materials.

Skills:

Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills specific to nuclear cardiology.

Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare staff.

Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in information Technology or related field or equivalent experience required.
