With offices in New Albany and Dublin, Rocky Fork offers a comprehensive selection of landscaping services for Columbus Ohio, including commercial and residential fencing, commercial landscape installation and maintenance, and commercial snow removal.

Bilingual Human Resource Assistant - Spanish

This role would work 24-30 hours per week over a 3-4 day period and splitting their time between our two locations (New Albany & Dublin). They hourly rate would be around $24-$28 based on experience.

Job Description Summary

Performs and understands the activities necessary to achieve the operational goals, job standards and objectives established by the company to maximize growth and profitability while meeting all customer expectations.

Conducts themselves professionally while working with employees, customers, vendors, management, foreman, and peers always.

Responsible for being a liaison between our Spanish speaking employees/contract associates and our Human Resources and Operations teams.

Responsible for maintaining an expectation of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential employment, payroll, and/or medical information.

Job Duties and Tasks

Prepares job announcements for internet, newspaper, magazine, social media platforms, and interoffice postings.

Screens applications for qualified applicants.

Schedules appointments for interviews.

Performs community outreach, attends job fairs, and/or attends workplace events targeting employment and hiring.

Maintains files of current applicants and prepares responses for applicants not selected.

Ensures that drug screens are conducted.

Prepares paperwork for verification for new employees and/or facilitates digital onboarding processes.

Assists in translating all documents (job descriptions, training documents, educational materials, evaluations, manuals, etc.) from English to Spanish and can ensure compliance is maintained.

Assists Operations or Administrative Management in administering operational directions on the job site, if necessary, verbal and/or written disciplinary actions, employee performance evaluations and directives, etc.

Reporting Relationships:

This position reports directly to the Human Resource Manager

Preferences for the Position:

High School Diploma or GED Certification

Valid Ohio Driver’s License (preferably with less than 3 moving violations)

Ability to read, write, and speak in Spanish

Proficient in utilization of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Proficient in utilization of social media platforms and execution of professional postings, job postings, etc.

Proficient in utilization of a desktop or laptop computer and tools.

Medium English language skills allowing the candidate the ability to read, and understand safety and operating procedures

Basic Math skills allowing the candidate count, do simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Medium Reasoning skills allowing the candidate to draw conclusions with abstract or concrete facts
